LANSING, MICH. — The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is asking outdoor enthusiasts to heed some advice this spring: “Muddy day? Please don’t play.”
Walking, biking and horseback riding on muddy trails destroys the trail’s surface, contributing to erosion and creating hard-to-fix trails, the DNR says.
